It can be representing his forgiveness towards your tantrum.
It can be he’s agreement to what you say, about the many months to come.
It can be because he know how much you want that like.
& it can be that he accepts your little message you sent in another medium.
Thank you, it means a lot to receive that notification.
Because my heart still pounds just by looking at your photo, and of us.
& you shan’t become my biggest regret in my life, but a part of my life.
It ain’t easy, but let’s make the best out of this.
Do you take what you have as what you have and leave it as that?
Or do you check the quality and quantity of it?
For some matters which I know of the relevant standards, the absolute amount, be it quality or quantity, is sufficient for me to make my assessment.
For matters which I am new to and uncertain of, I look around for comparisons. I like to know where I stand and where things stands. I assess, I measure, I analyse.
It’s true some things cannot be measured, especially intangibles. But even the accounting still tries to make some sense of such and prescribe treatments so that recognition is still given.
Excessive comparisons may be unhealthy. But is not a state of no comparison an idealism?
